Mr. Khurram Khan is a surgeon from Oxford who accompanied the Northern Cleft Foundation to Nagpur, India in January 2015.
He says he was humbled by the dedication and hard work that he witnessed there and so decided to take part in his own personal challenge to raise money for the NCF. This will help to continue to provide free corrective cleft surgery to those who would otherwise be unable to afford it.
Khurram took part in a 10k obstacle race over wet and muddy terrain – The Warrior Adrenaline Race on April 26th 2015. He tested himself to the limit to raise over £1400 for the NCF… a fantastic effort which will fund seven “smiles”.
Just brilliant!
